Heat Mission!
The LA HEAT is comprised of dedicated Fire
Department and Law Enforcement personnel
from the Los Angeles Area.  For the past 14
Seasons, the LA HEAT have desired to play
competitive, top-level football while preparing for
a championship Season.

The LA HEAT plays for the
Alisa Ann Ruch Burn
Foundation.
Founded in 1971,  the Burn Foundation works in
partnership  with firefighters, educators, and
burn care  professionals to develop innovative
programs and services.

The
Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation derived its
name and inspiration from an eight-year-old
child, Alisa Ann, who was fatally burned in a
common backyard barbecue accident.

The LA HEAT is a member of
NPSFL (National
Public Safety Football League), which is now
comprised of about 15 teams from all over the
United States.  Every player of the
NPSFL is
sworn personnel.  Each team plays for one, or a
collection of charities and strives to adhere to
the same honor and integrity on the field, as we
do on-duty.

LA Heat Board, Team, and extended family ask for continued prayers
and thoughts for our fearless leader,
President Ray Mayo and his
family as he continues to heal!  We LOVE YOU RAY!
The Los Angeles Heat extends its Heartfelt condolences to the LAFD
and the family of our brother Firefighter, Brent A Lovrien.
Through these fields of destruction
Baptisms of fire
I've watched all your suffering
As the battles raged higher
And though they did hurt me so bad
In the fear and alarm
You did not desert me
My brothers in arms

Firefighter Brent A. Lovrien, age 35, a 10 year veteran of the LAFD assigned to the 'A'

Guzman investigated a smoking electrical vault in a Westchester buisness, when the
vault exploded also injuring Guzman critically.
The Los Angeles Heat's thoughts are with Anthony Guzman and his
family and we hope for a speedy recovery.
