Football Experience:
Jason is currently entering his fourth season with the
HEAT. Jason works as a firefighter/paramedic with the
Santa Monica Fire Department. Jason Wells began his
football career at the age of 23 when he made the team
with the Azusa Pacific University Cougars. After two
years at Tight End and winning a NAIA National
Championship in 1998, Jason then went to Europe to
play for the Tyrolean Raiders in Innsbruck, Austria for
the 2000 season and played in Austrian Bowl XXVI.
Jason led the HEAT offense in scoring last season
catching 4 touchdowns in the 4 games he played in.
