Dr.Gary Brazina MD.
F.A.C.S. Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon
Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine


Dr. Brazina, also known as “the Jock Doc,” graduated from Temple University School of
Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He specializes in arthroscopic surgery and sports
medicine and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery and the American
College of Surgeons; a qualified Medical Examiner for the State of California and Agreed
Medical Examiner. With over 20 years of surgical experience, Dr. Brazina has treated some of
the nation’s top athletes. Dr. Brazina writes and lectures extensively, publishes a newsletter,
Orthopedic Update, and serves on the editorial board of Woman’s Fitness magazine. He has
been featured in articles in Redbook, Shape, Sports Illustrated and Elle magazines and
appeared regularly on CNN, LA Today, The Home Show, Skiing America, KTLA Morning
News and Aspen Today.
