The L.A. Heat Football Team is in its 15th year of playing football for charitable organizations. Our
team is comprised of full-time Firefighters, Sheriffs, Probation Officers, and members of the CHP
who donate their time and talent to raise money for worthy causes. We are a non-profit
organization and a member of the National Public Safety Football League (NPSFL). The NPSFL
consists of sixteen (16) teams of sworn peace officers, firefighters, and related public safety
personnel from major cities across the nation including Los Angeles, Houston, Miami, Dallas,
Phoenix, Philadelphia and New York. The league’s spirit is based upon the principles of
camaraderie, competition and, most importantly, charitable contribution. The L.A. Heat plays four
to five games per season as well as scrimmages. With support from our families, the proceeds from
ticket and program advertisement sales go to charitable organizations. Past recipients include the
Children of the Night, Make a Wish Foundation, Blind Children's Foundation, Child Abuse
Foundation and the Grossman Burn Center to name a few.
As we kick off our 2007 season, we cordially invite you to join our team by becoming a sponsor.
Our commitment to charitable organizations relies on sponsor partnerships to successfully raise
funds for local charities, as well as build positive relationships between local firefighters, police
officers, community residents and business owners. Currently, the coaching staff and team players
pay all of their own league dues, equipment, uniforms, insurance and travel expenses.
With your tax-deductible donation, your company will receive exposure through our advertisement
for the games, printed ads in the game programs, and recognition on our web page. We are
