Ryan enters his second season with the Heat. Ryan spilt
time at quarterback after initialing joining the team as a
wide receiver. Last season he sparked the HEAT offense
with his strong throwing arm and running abilities. He
played high school football at Tehachapi High School
and then at Alan Hancock College where he gained all-
league recognition.
Ryan will start this season at the helm of the HEAT
offense at quarterback.
Ryan joins Jason Haley as Santa Barbara County Fire
Departments first two players for the HEAT. Both
joined the team during last seasons’ mini-camp at Santa
Barbara City College when they were working out with
their engine company during required physical fitness
training time. Ryan makes the 2 hour drive along with his
RB teammate Jason Haley from Santa Barbara each
Saturday for practice and works as a firefighter for the
Santa Barbara County Fire Department. He has
developed into a team leader and well respected member
of the HEAT.
